Daniel Powter is a Canadian musician who earned worldwide fame with the release of his single "Bad Day". The song debuted in Europe in mid 2005, and gained even more attention when it earned a regular spot on the hit show "American Idol".
Singer Ayaka, 20, on Wednesday joined a live concert of Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Powter, 37, in Tokyo as a surprise guest. In the concert for 300 specially invited fans, Ayaka appeared on stage and sang “Bad Day” and other songs with Powter.
