Hayley Atwell (born 1982) is an English actress. She was a sixth-former at the London Oratory School, West London, and then trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She served on the jury for the 2007 British Independent Film Awards.

Atwell appears in the forthcoming the BBC miniseries The Shadow in the North, and the films Brideshead Revisited as well as The Duchess in which she plays Lady Bess Foster.

In 2008 Atwell will play the title character in Major Barbara at the National Theatre.
