The National Basketball Association's franchise in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, the Pacers were founded in 1967 in the ABA. They won 3 ABA Championships, in 1970, 1972 and 1973. They joined the NBA in 1976. Some notable Pacer players include George McGinnis, Reggie Miller, Mel Daniels and Roger Brown.
