Powered by the breakthrough hit "This Love" and follow up smashes "Harder to Breathe" and "She Will Be Loved", Adam Levine (vocals/guitar), James Valentine (guitar), Jesse Carmichael (keyboards), Mickey Madden (bass), and Ryan Dusick (drums) became stars and won a Grammy for Best New Artist even though the band wasn't really new.
